After being spotted on 2K Games website yesterday, BioShock: The Collection has been officially announced. BioShock: The Collection will take players on a journey through Rapture via a remaster of the first two games in 1080p at 60 frames. The collection will also include BioShock Infinite, which will not be remastered since, according to 2K, it “already meets current-gen console standards.” BioShock: The Collection will include all single-player downloadable content for each of the three games.
2K Games also released a trailer showing each game as part of the announcement.
BioShock: The Collection is scheduled to release September 13th of this year in North America, with an Australian release planned for September 15th, and an international release on September 16th.
