Rumor: Potential Destiny 2 Leak from Unlikely Source

Destiny 2 Leak

A leak regarding the existence and potential plot of Destiny 2 has surfaced, from, of all places, a Mega Bloks fan site. Think of Mega Bloks as like Lego, but not. Over on the fan site, a poster noticed that a variety of unannounced Mega Bloks sets (again, think of the Lego sets where you build Death Stars and things) had gone up early on Amazon. So far, so what? The interesting point to note is that the Destiny sets feature scenes that haven’t happened in the currently released Destiny game. It’s not unheard of for sets like this to be revealed before the release of the movie/game they’re related to, but to be revealed even before the game is announced? In defence of the Destiny 2 leak, Amazon have since pulled some of the listings, which makes it seem that the listings contain details we weren’t meant to know. The details of the Destiny 2 leak are below:

– Destiny Cabal Goliath Tank Building Set
Buildable Goliath tank with rotating turret and articulated jets
Tank fully opens to reveal interior troop bay
Four highly detailed, super-poseable micro action figures include Commander Zavala, one Cabal Phalanx, and two Cabal Psion
Zavala comes with detachable armor and Answering Chords auto rifle
Cabal figures come with detachable Siege Dancer armor, weapons, and shield accessory

– Cabal Bruiser Battle Building Set
Buildable hangar platform
Set the scene for a clash between a Bruiser’s crushing strength and a master swordsman’s skill
A legendary warrior faces his greatest contest yet in the Tower hangar
Wielding his Raze-Lighter, hero of the Crucible Lord Shaxx prepares to pit his blade against the furious cleavers of a Cabal Red Guard

– Aspect Of Glass Building Set
Buildable Aspect of Glass jump ship with opening cockpit and working launcher
Highly detailed, super-poseable Hunter micro action figure
Figure comes with detachable Spektar armor and Lord of Wolves shotgun
Jump ship stand features transparent articulated display rod

The descriptions of the sets name the “Cabal Red Guard”, a division of the Cabal unknown and unheard of in Destiny so far. It seems from the description above, the Cabal mount an attack on The Tower. If this information holds any validity, what do you think of the potential implications for the plot of Destiny 2? Let us know in the comments below.
