CAPCOM have unveiled a slew of details regarding the upcoming PC port of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, in the form of a shiny new trailer. With support for 4K resolution, and 60fps, this is shaping up to be the definitive version of Dragon’s Dogma. It also comes packaged with all previously released DLC, much like the console release of Dark Arisen.
The original Dragon’s Dogma released on consoles back in 2012 to mixed reviews. It’s gameplay and scope were widely praised, but an inconsistent framerate and numerous technical hitches soured the experience. The Dark Arisen expansion launched a year later, accompanied by an update that rectified many of the larger issues. It was sold in a bundle alongside the original game, and included all DLC released prior to that point. Dragon’s Dogma developed a cult following, and remains a popular title among certain circles.
The PC port of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is set to release on Steam on January 15 next year for all regions. No word has been made regarding the currently Japan-exclusive Dragon’s Dogma MMO, though trademarks have been filed in other regions.
