If you’re itching to get your hands on the latest Super Smash Bros. DLC, it seems that the wait may not last much longer. In a tweet from Nintendo of America, the release date for the upcoming expansion was confirmed for February 3. The update includes Bayonetta, the titular Umbra Witch from the Bayonetta franchise, as well as Corrin, from the upcoming Fire Emblem Fates. It also includes a new Bayonetta-themed stage, and a range of Mii outfits to use in-game.

Though little is known about the fighting styles of these new characters, a video was leaked from Nintendo today featuring a one-on-one duel between the two. It showcases a variety of moves from both sides, including Bayonetta’s Witch Time ability, and Corrin’s Final Smash. If you’re itching to get a leg-up on learning these new characters, or just want to see how Bayonetta handles the transition to the world of Smash Bros, check out the video embedded below.
This new wave of DLC is slated as the last major update for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS. Support will continue for the game, but there will be no more playable characters or stages in future updates. Each piece of additional content will be available individually, or bundled together in a discounted pack if you want to experience it all together.
