Deus Ex: Mankind Divided features a world torn apart after a terrorist attack, pitting mechanically augmented humans against unmodified humans. In the newest gameplay demo, we join Adam Jensen as he explores the new City HUB while making his way to help a colleague, who is being pressured by local gangs. The demo showcases improved stealth, augmentation abilities, combat, and many other aspects of the game, and lets you choose to see different ways of handling conflict.

In the Deus Ex universe, the world has become more technologically capable, leading to massive improvements in areas like security and medicine. The most notable breakthrough is the potential to replace missing limbs with cybernetic enhancements, leading to the inevitable argument of ‘what truly makes us human?’. Eventually, the argument escalates into conflict, and augmented humans become segregated from ‘natural’ humans. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided takes place during the height of this paranoia.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is scheduled to be released on August 23rd for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, and continues the story of Adam Jensen after the events of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
