Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Set for Holiday 2017 Release

Nintendo revealed an extended cinematic trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles 2, which is set for a Holiday 2017 release on the Nintendo Switch. In classic JRPG fashion, the game features colorful characters wielding large swords. We had a brief outline of the story and it appears to revolve around the floating city of Elysium. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was first announced back in January during the reveal of the Nintendo Switch.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is not a direct follow-up to Xenoblade Chronicles X, though it bears a lot of similarities. Both feature a massive explorable world and deep turn-based combat with an anime aesthetic. JRPGs will feel right at home on the Switch, and this is looking to be a deep experience. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is set for a Holiday 2017 release on Nintendo Switch.
