Telltale’s Batman Season 2: The Enemy Within Announced

Players will be joining Batman once again as Telltale just announced Batman Season 2: The Enemy Within.

During this year’s San Diego Comic Con, Telltale had plenty of announcements for a lot of their popular series including their Batman series. Even more surprisingly is that the first episode was announced to be releasing next month. Episode 1 is called “The Enigma” and it will be released on August 8th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with the iOS and Android versions coming out later in 2017. Season 1 of the Batman series was first announced back in 2015 and debuted last August. Season 2 will most likely resume soon after the end of the first season. It was not confirmed but was hinted throughout the teaser trailer that John Doe, aka The Joker, will most likely be the main villain in the upcoming season. Any guesses though at this point are pure speculation and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Telltale also released some new screenshots and a brief trailer for Season 2. A new character that has been confirmed to appear in the upcoming season is The Riddler. Troy Baker will be reprising his role once more as Batman and Bruce Wayne. There have been no other details regarding the story or other returning characters for Season 2. While details are scarce at the moment, things do look quite intriguing for Bruce Wayne’s next adventure.

For over a decade, I've watched how the videogame landscape has changed and evolved which has me excited for what is to come in the near future.
