There will be one last adventure in the The Walking Dead universe as Telltale announced the fourth and final season to the Walking Dead series.
The announcement was revealed yesterday at this year’s San Diego Comic Con. While no official release date was confirmed, it has been given a 2018 release window for all consoles, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android. The season will star in Clementine once more with her voice actress Melissa Hutchinson returning. No other characters or voice actors have been confirmed for the upcoming season. Telltale’s The Walking Dead was first released back in 2012 and have since released three seasons with two spinoffs. The most recent third season, A New Frontier, ended earlier this year. Without spoilers, the fourth season will most likely resume close to where A New Frontier. That is pure speculation but judging by how last season ended, it seems Clementine has a lot of things to attend to before the series finale.
Unfortunately, not much else was released about the final season. During this year’s San Diego Comic Con, Telltale did release a summer 2017 update video showcasing games they are working on — the other two games being Batman: The Enemy Within and The Wolf Among Us Season Two. It seems that Telltale really went all out at this year’s San Diego Comic Con.
