A New Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Expansion Pass Update Releases Tomorrow

In what could be one of the most divine coincidences as far as coverage of the game goes for me, Nintendo has announced a new DLC update for Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The patch, version 1.5.1, is a patch solely for Expansion Pass owners, and will introduce new difficulty modifications that were originally discovered in a data mine, new rare Blade quests, and a series of five new quests that expand the story.

The new blade is Hibana, a bit ball wielding Fire-type healer. She can be found in a new quest. Difficulty slider options will allow the player to modify their gameplay experience. Players can obtain new items in Challenge mode by exchanging Noponstones, and by playing with Shulk and Fiora in the party the player can switch the music to You Will Know Our Names when fighting a nameless monster.
