Activision Announces Call of Duty XP 2016

This morning, Activision announced the second Call of Duty XP event, which will take place September 2-4 in Inglewood, California.

Call of Duty fans will have the opportunity to test out the remastered version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, as well as the newest iteration in the series, Infinite Warfare, due out this November. New content for Black Ops III will also be available for play.

In addition, players will also have access to an “exclusive PlayStation VR experience” involving the Jackal, the featured aircraft of Infinite Warfare.

For the physical fans, paintball matches will be hosted in a recreation of fan-favorite map Nuketown. A Zombies-themed laser-tag event will also be available.

The event will also play host to the culmination of the 2016 Call of Duty World League, where the Top 32 teams will compete for their share of the $3.5 million prize pool.

Tickets for Call of Duty XP event go on sale Saturday, June 11 at 10am PST/1pm EST, and are available in three tiers.

Call of DutyInfinite Warfare releases November 4, competing with EA’s Battlefield 1. Both titles will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
