Activision Owns Up to Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5’s Glitchy Mess

An Activision representative recently spoke with IGN and recognized the current problems with the newly released Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5, which is currently plagued by glitches.

“We are aware of the issues that players have experienced following the launch of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 and are working with the developer to address these so that we can continue to improve the gameplay experience for all of the Tony Hawk fans who have known and loved this franchise for more than 16 years.”

What is most surprising about this conundrum is that Tony Hawk had a 7.7 GB update to start the game, taking up more space than the title itself, yet it fixed none of the current issues. It remains to be seen whether or not developer Rodomodo will fix these glitches in a timely manner and and have the game live up to the Tony Hawk name, but hopefully these problems will be fixed in due time.

  1. That is such a generic response, if they really wanted to own up they would explain why the game was a 7gb day one patch. Activision gonna be Activision I guess.
