The dream of Triple A games, such as Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, coming to Nintendo Switch, is finally coming true! Yet, not the way we’d like it to…and only in Japan.
Seeing the success of Switch in Japan, gaming companies are desperate to get as much of their games onto Nintendo’s hand-held as possible, and there is no easier nor faster way to do so compared to the power of Cloud Gaming (which Microsoft and EA keep telling us is the future). That is why Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey joins Resident Evil VII as another streamable game for Nintendo’s hybrid console.
The cloud version of Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey will release simultaneously with other versions on October 5th, and will either cost $6.50 a day or $75 for ultimate access. As far as we know there are no plans for a western release, which is not surprising as Resident Evil VII Cloud Version for Switch still remains a Japan exclusive.
