During the Ubisoft E3 2019 pre-show, it was announced that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is getting a Story Creator Mode for free to all players.
Story Creator Mode lets players build their own unique stories with new quests. Players will use a web-based tool where they can design storylines and craft narrative-centered quests. There are six quest objective options to choose from such as assassination or rescue missions.
You will also be able to choose details such as quest outcomes, how to start a quest, objectives, character behaviors, and more. These quests will be connected by self-written dialogue and story paths.
Players can choose various characters from the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey world to play new roles in their story. Also, these stories can be shared with others and played cross-platform.
Ubisoft also announced that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be getting a Discovery Tour. You will get to go on guided tours about Ancient Greece and explore 300 stations. Unlike Assassin’s Creed Origins, this Discovery Tour includes interactive quizzes at the end of a tour.
Story Creator Mode is now available as an open beta. Discovery Tour launches this Fall 2019.
