Battlefield V’s Extensive Reveal at E3

At this year’s E3, there was an extensive look at Battlefield V during the EA press conference. There is a heavy emphasis on squad customization, single player campaign, and varied multiplayer.

Oskar Gabrielson and Lars Gustavsson from DICE spoke on stage about what players can expect from this year’s installment. The game is about seeing the war through the eyes of the men and women who fought in it, giving it a very personal feel. They stressed that there will be no loot boxes and no premium pass, which was met with cheers from the crowd.

Battlefield V will have its own take on the Battle Royale craze, simply called “Royale”. We also know that Call of Duty Black Ops IIII will also have something similar, meaning that the AAA shooter space will be very crowded in terms of Battle Royale multiplayer.

After the presentation, there was an extensive trailer, showing what appears to be both multiplayer and single player. EA and DICE have given a great focus on both of these features, and with the promise of no loot boxes,
