Bethesda announced Prey at this year’s E3 press conference, a game that was rumored at last year’s E3, with Arkane Studios taking the helm.
The story follows a man named Morgan, who is trapped in an isolated space station and lives through a series of Groundhog Day-esque events. Morgan awakes on Talos 1 in the year 2032, and appears to be suffering from some sort of delusion and a skewed view of reality.
The Prey franchise has been around for some time, though it has remained largely dormant. The previous title, Prey 2 saw numerous development issues, and was eventually cancelled in 2014. The new entry bears little resemblance to its cancelled predecessor.
