Ken Levine, famously known as the director of BioShock and BioShock Infinite, is reportedly writing and directing a new interactive live-action film based on The Twilight Zone. According to an interview with Wired, Levine is working on a film that will “explore the spaces between movies and games.” The film will be produced with Interlude, a company specializing in interactive video technology allowing users to jump between multiple streams of video.
If you were worried Levine was abandoning his post at Take-Two, he’s not. Levine considers this partnership with Interlude a “side project” (Levine likened this side project to the equivalent of a “vacation”) and is “working diligently” on his next game, which relatively little is known about — Levine has promised a “small-scale open world” and Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick called it “something highly creative and innovative.”
