Call of Cthulhu is an RPG-investigation game, blending psychological horror and stealth mechanics in a deeply immersive world with an oppressive atmosphere. Today ushers in a new trailer, depicting protagonist Pierce’s submersion into the depths of madness, as he investigates a mysterious death on Darkwater Island, Boston.
In Call of Cthulhu, a Private Detective, Edward Pierce is on a mission to find the truth behind the death of an acclaimed artist and her family on a backwater island. Pierce is used to trusting his instincts, but with whale mutilations and disappearing bodies, this is only the beginning as reality becomes skewed. As his investigation leads him closer to the sphere of influence of the Great Dreamer, he soon starts to doubt everything he sees. Players will have to find balance between their own sanity and their determination in finding out what lurks in the shadows — as they say that madness is the only way that can bring you to the truth.

Cyanide an independent and privately held video game studio based in Paris and created in 2000. The studio is best known for its sports game such as Pro Cycling Manager series and its console version, Tour de France, along with such Sport/Fantasy games as Blood Bowl and Blood Bowl 2. They also created Styx: Master of Shadows and its upcoming sequel Styx: Shards of Darkness.
Players will be able to delve head-first into the madness as Call of Cthulhu: The Official Videogame releases in 2017 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
