The Curse of the Pharaohs is the second expansion for Assassin’s Creed Origins and it will be releasing on March 13. Unlike the first expansion, this one dives more into Egyptian mythology.
Bayek travels to Thebes to discover how an ancient curse is plaguing the area. Thebes is a new location that was not available on the map in the vanilla Assassin’s Creed Origins. Thebes has popular historical landmarks such as the tombs on the Valley of the Kings, and the temples Karnak and Luxor. Bayek will get to explore those landmarks and battle well-known pharaohs and monsters.
Thebes will have brand new quests that reveal more about the mystery and history of Thebes. As expected, the boss fights and enemies will be new to the game. Bayek will also come across new NPCs through his journey.
In The Curse of the Pharaohs, it is important that players are close to level 45 even if they have not finish the main story of Origins or The Hidden Ones. Players will be able to reach level 55 in this expansion.
It is still not known if this expansion will be a part of the Discovery Tour.
The Curse of the Pharaohs is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC for $19.99 if purchased separately from the Season Pass.
