Destiny 2 is the first third-party, non-Blizzard game to appear on Battle.net and it will not be digitally available through any other retailers. There is a physical version for the PC version, however, that will be widely available in stores. Bungie and Blizzard both fall under the Activision publishing banner, so it makes sense that this collaboration would take place.
Today’s Destiny 2 livestream revealed new multiplayer info, new planets, campaign and gameplay details, and much more. There is a lot to unpack about the shared-world shooter within the next few months so stay tuned. Destiny 2 is set to release September 8th this year on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
