Division 2 Revealed, More Info Given at Ubisoft Conference

[UPDATE]

At Ubisoft’s E3 event, more information was given on the upcoming shared-world shooter sequel, The Division 2. Another cinematic trailer (seen below) showcases a world that has only continued to degrade since the events of the first game. Additional information was given that was not previously known about The Division 2:

  • Specialization include signature weapons and unlock after completion of the main story-line. Specializations include Survivalist (which unlocks the crossbow) and a Demolitionist (Grenade Launcher).
  • Eight player teams can take on raids.
  • Planning on years of frequent major updates. Year One will include three DLC packs in an episodic format, and they will be free for everyone.

In a surprising twist, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 was revealed at Microsoft’s E3 2018 Press Conference. There were no blackouts or fake money drops from the ceilings, but it did have a pretty extensive gameplay demo showcasing the new setting of Washington D.C. The Division 2 again has a heavy focus on advanced weaponry and cooperative gameplay.

Check out the above trailer for the narrative details of The Division 2. Below you can find the world premier gameplay demo.
