DOOM Multiplayer Beta Announced, New Trailer Revealed

Bethesda has announced that their upcoming first-person shooter, Doom, will have a closed multiplayer beta from March 31st to April 3rd on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Players who pre-ordered Wolfenstein: The New Order can get access to the closed beta by redeeming their beta code.

A new trailer for Doom’s multiplayer was also released and it looks to be a fast-paced arena FPS experience. Players will engage in gorey, quick combat over a variety of multiplayer modes such as four-player deathmatch, domination, freeze tag, and clan arena. Check out the trailer for some great footage!

Doom developer id Software is working with Certain Affinity to make the multiplayer aspect great. Certain Affinity has previously worked on multiplayer experiences such as Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Call of Duty: Ghosts, and Halo 4.

Doom will release on May 13th worldwide for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
