Right now, PAX Prime is ongoing over on the other side of the United States, and developer BioWare just dropped a big one on the attendees. A new expansion for the hit title, Dragon Age: Inquisition, titled Trespasser, was confirmed at a PAX Prime conference earlier today, and it looks to be a doozy. A future patch is slated to add some very useful quality of life features, the main one being the Golden Nug statue, which will allow the player to maintain their schematics, recipes, and tapestries while re-rolling a new character.
While EA Spain accidentally leaked a trailer of the expansion the other day, with a confirmation officiated through PAX Prime, the wheels of speculation begin turning, with the news that the expansion will arrive on September 8th. The new expansion is set to build on the ending that disappointed many gaming fans alike, skipping two years following the events of the initial game. The story will build upon the lives of the characters responsible for saving the world from destruction, and their whereabouts.
Back in June of this year, a leak of some kind of final adventure was presented to the gaming community. After looking at this leaked information, it is clear that this final adventure is the expansion coming very soon for players, which will officially wrap up the Inquisition storyline. A new race, the Qunari, will be unveiled in the expansion, and your role in the storyline will be to “uncover secrets of the Fade that will change your understanding of the world” and to challenge you in a way that has never been done.
The trailer for this new expansion can be found below. BioWare also held a discussion and talked about the new story expansion. Thanks to Game Informer for being able to speak with BioWare on the fans’ behalf.
