In an effort to show continuing support to the PC gaming community, CAPCOM has announced that the former console-exclusive RPG title Dragon’s Dogma will soon be made available via Steam. The port promises “stunningly high-res graphics and improved fidelity,” as well as support for a range of control schemes, as stated on the CAPCOM-Unity blog post.
The release is currently slated for January 2016, with the price point set at $29.99. It is also set to include the Dark Arisen expansion, ensuring both console and PC players receive the same experience.
The console release of Dragon’s Dogma received mixed reviews, but managed to establish a small, dedicated fanbase. The subsequent release of Dark Arisen added a wealth of post-game content, as well as a host of bug fixes, adding to the longevity of the game.
