Seeing the incredible response that Final Fantasy XV has generated, it’s no surprise that the incredibly expansive Ultimate Collector’s Edition package sold out within 30 minutes. With only 30,000 copies in production worldwide, there was an insanely high demand for the product. Fortunately, in a post on Twitter, FFXV director Hajime Tabata stated that Square Enix is looking to increase production on the package.

A post on Twitter is by no means a concrete confirmation of production, but hope remains for those looking to really show their support for the game. For those looking to spend a little less, or for those who missed out, the Deluxe Edition is still widely available. The Ultimate Collector’s edition was quick to pop up on eBay auctions at a significantly higher price point, but for those looking for a more reasonable approach, it might prove beneficial to hold out.
Final Fantasy XV is set to launch on September 30 for Xbox One and PS4, with pre-orders available through the Square Enix website.
