Following the recent Active Time Report stream, Square Enix has announced a new Final Fantasy XV event. This event, titled “Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV” comes following a string of reveals for the hotly anticipated RPG. It is currently scheduled to take place on March 30, in the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, and will be hosted by Greg Miller and Tim Gettys.
The Uncovered Event will reveal a release date and initial price point for the game, as well as any additional features or extras included at launch. It will also unveil a demo release, for those itching to try the game first-hand. The decision for a single event rather than specific regional events was made to ensure information is revealed equally for all regions. Simultaneous presentations will be on offer, for residents of Japan and Europe.
Though the auditorium can contain 6,000 people, the event will be live-streamed via YouTube Gaming and Twitch for those who can’t make it. If you’re interested in attending, tickets will be on sale on the 4th of February, with a countdown on the website to help keep track. It’s highly likely that tickets will move quickly, so be prepared to react swiftly when the ticket sales go live. Do note that general admission is limited to residents of the United States.
Final Fantasy XV is set to launch sometime in the vague period of this year, exclusively for the PS4 and Xbox One.
