Playground Games and Microsoft are taking players to the races again with new footage of Forza Horizon 3 at Gamescom 2016. Set in the open-world playground of Australia, Forza 3 puts gamers in charge of running the Horizon festival. The festival hosts a wide variety of race types from the ages old street races to cross-country rally races. Forza 3 boasts an impressive 350 car roster, which includes the slick Lamborghini Centenario (seen at the bottom of the article, rendered in-game). Forza 3 even has events where you race a Jeep… suspended by a helicopter!
Makes me think of a certain Top Gear episode.
Forza Horizon 3 also brings multiple options to Co-op play. Not only will you be able toset up a lobby, and race your friends, you can also higher then to play a role in your Horizon Festival. And what happens if they do a terrible job, you ask? You can fire them! It’s all about running the Horizon festival the way you see fit, and you’re the one running the show.
Forza Horizon 3 is coming exclusively to Xbox One and Windows 10 September 27th as is part of the Xbox Play Anywhere line-up of games. Xbox Play Anywhere launches just days before, on September 17th, 2016.
