It’s that time of year again, when we see what people think are games of the year, and this year’s nominees came as no surprise to me. The Game of the Year nominees are Bloodbourne, Fallout 4, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, Super Mario Maker, and Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Nominated games had to have been released before November 24, 2015, which is why we will not be seeing Just Cause 3 or Rainbow Six Siege enter the fray. Various gaming websites and the media cast most of the votes, but the public will be able to vote for three categories: Best Fan Creation, Trending Gamer, and Most Anticipated Game. The show will be held at 9 p.m. on December 3, 2015, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.  If you do not live near Los Angeles, then you can watch the show on various streaming sites such as Twitch, Youtube, and Xbox Live. Below are other nominees and categories that will be shown at Game Awards 2015. Which game do you think is going to win Game of the Year? I’d be interested to hear your thoughts in the comments below.

Metal gear solid is where it’s at for best game but not best story or narrative.

I agree it was an amazing game to play, but Fallout 4 also looks really fun.
