God of War Takes Home Top Spot at 2018 Game Awards

Sony Santa Monica Studio’s God of War has scored a hat trick at this year’s Game Awards. God of War has won Game of the Year, and has taken home the awards for both Best Action/Adventure Game and Best Studio/Game Direction. God of War managed to beat this year’s Goliath, Red Dead Redemption 2, proving once again that single player gaming is alive, well and thriving.

God of War currently sits at a score of 94 on Metacritic and sold 3.1 million copies in its first three days, topping Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, which sold 2.7 million units in its first week.
