Episode 25 of our gaming podcast, The Gamer Professionals Show (GPS) is now live! Gamescom is happening right now in Germany and we’ve got some news from that to discuss. From this point forward in the year, it’s a pretty steady flow of game releases which will certainly keep us busy.

In the news, SNES Classic pre-orders have gone live, but to no one’s surprise, we weren’t able to obtain one. A remake for the Playstation game Fear Effect is being published by Square Enix which should be available next year. There’s a new Overwatch map called Junkertown and a few more details on the colorful platformer Fe. THQ Nordic have revealed a new weird game called Biomutant, which a couple of us are excited about. Lastly, BioWare have confirmed that there will be no more single player content for Mass Effect Andromeda.

We have all been playing a lot of games this week. We all spent a good amount of time with Observer, which is a fantastic cyberpunk investigative game that has some pacing issues. However, everybody thinks Daniel Lazarski is awesome. Agents of Mayhem is the new game from Saint’s Row developer Volition. It’s a fun action game that suffers from a large, but empty world to play in. We’ve also spent some time this week with The Escapists 2, which has some great improvements from the first game.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is out now and stands as a significant game in the series, despite a somewhat smaller scale and the absence of Nathan Drake as a protagonist. Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross star in this adventure and certainly hold their own as significant characters. Naughty Dog continue to create some of the most beautiful set pieces in gaming while introducing some light open-world elements to the series. If you’re a fan of Uncharted, this isn’t a game to miss.
