Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Has Now Sold One Million Units

Ever since its release, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has passed multiple milestones. Now, the developer of the game, Ninja Theory, took to twitter to celebrate their latest triumph: the game passing one million units sold.

Ninja Theory decided to create Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice as a budget game but with AAA production. The developer even decided to lower the price point for the game. The risk payed off as the game has been well received by critics. Many praised Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice for its mature depiction of mental illness. If you are looking to see what Ninja Theory does next, you should know that Microsoft acquired them to become an exclusive studio. If you still haven’t played it, now might be a great time. Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is currently 40% off on the Steam Summer Sale. You can also buy the game on PS4 and Xbox One.
