A leaked image of an Italian Destiny 2 poster has revealed a potential release date for the much-anticipated sequel. The poster provides a glimpse of three Guardians striking a pose beside the game’s logo and features a European release date of September 8th, meaning the launch in the United States could be slated for the prior Tuesday (September 5th).
The projected dates would fall in line with previous entries in the franchise. Destiny released on September 9th in 2014, while the title’s two big expansions, The Taken King and Rise of Iron, also launched during September of 2015 and 2016 respectively.
On the heels of the leak, Bungie is expected to make an official announcement regarding the FPS very soon.
Are you chomping at the bit for September to hurry the hell up and get here? What changes would you like to see Bungie make for the sequel? Let us know in the comments!
