Earlier today, Logitech G announced their newest computer peripheral in their 900 series lineup. For those unfamiliar, the 900 series of products that Logitech G offers are their top of the line, performance models that are typically more premium compared to the rest of their lineup. It’s been several years since the last 900-line keyboard was released, with the last one being the Logitech G910 Orion Spectrum keyboard.
This keyboard, the G915, features wireless Lightsync and Bluetooth capabilities. It’s got the standard RGB lighting controllable using the Logitech Gaming Software, and comes with other features like USB pass through, the ten-key number pad, and the volume wheel. What makes this keyboard stand out though is the thin design that is less than a dime’s diameter in thickness. The keys are also low-profile, featuring Kailh GL switches, a new change for the company which has used their own proprietary Romer G switches in the past. The keyboard will sell for $249.99 later this month.
As somebody who has their hands on this keyboard, you guys are in for a real treat. I’ll have a review out soon, but my early impressions of the device are that it’s the best keyboard that they offer that blows their Orion Spectrum out of the water. If you want to know more about it, feel free to get in touch.
Here’s the demo reel from Logitech.
