Nintendo had some big news for earlier today… which ended up being slightly disappointing. It was announced earlier today that Minecraft would be making its way to the Wii U on December 17th. The title would be priced at $29.99, available on the eShop, and would contain six add-on packs.
The developers of Minecraft, Mojang, announced that more packs would be available later, and urged their fans to remember that the game can still be highly enjoyable without paying extra money.
The Wii U version would also feature off-TV play, allowing players to enjoy the game without interfering with others who wished to use the big screen to watch shows or movies.
