Pokkén Tournament Deluxe was announced earlier this week for the Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo Spotlight shined new details on the game. Much like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Pokkén Tournament Deluxe is the newest and slightly upgraded version of the original Pokkén Tournament for the Wii U. “There are some fresh additions, including new Pokémon.” said Tsunekazu Ishihara. The game features a bolstered online mode with new ranked battles, a 3v3 team battle, and daily challenges. One highlighted feature for Pokkén Tournament Deluxe is the local multiplayer through the use of the Joy-Cons. They allow up to two players to battle on a single Switch.
