There seems to be many highly anticipated games to look forward to in 2018. However, arguably the most talked about game is Red Dead Redemption 2. The announcement trailer hit last September but today we get a new Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer.
The trailer shows off a lot of action that the Van der Linda gang will get into. We also see more of Arthur Morgan who is the main character of the game. It is also confirmed the game takes place in 1899 which is 12 years before Red Dead Redemption. While the gorgeous trailer has no gameplay footage, there are some interesting details scattered throughout. One of the more eye opening details comes closer to the end where we see John Marston. Many speculated he would return in the game but that has yet been confirmed. Again, the trailer does not show too much but the small details are bound to have fans speculating until release.
The description of the YouTube video also has some interesting details about the game and some of the choices Arthur Morgan may have to make:
“America, 1899. The end of the wild west era has begun as lawmen hunt down the last remaining outlaw gangs. Those who will not surrender or succumb are killed. After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive. As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him.”
Unfortunately, we still have a while to wait because the game is releasing October 26, 2018 for PS4 and Xbox One. Until then, let the fan theories begin. For anything else on Red Dead Redemption 2 or gaming related, stay tuned to us here at Gamer Professionals.
