New Announcement For Horizon Zero Dawn

Horizon Zero Dawn

PlayStation recently released a new trailer for Horizon Zero Dawn. The trailer focuses on the main character Aloy, exploring the mysteries of her origin, her journey as an outcast and the events leading to her destiny. Simply put this game is gorgeous, imaginative and unique. However showing off the graphics and getting fans acquainted with this digital realm wasn’t the only purpose.

Horizon Zero Dawn is stunning with many elements of other triple A titles. The world appears to have a very rich lore along with a variety of alien looking robot dinosaurs. Everything shown so far builds the image of a world that nature has taken back from humankind.

At the end of Horizon Zero Dawn‘s trailer was it’s new release date. PlayStation says it was a hard decision to push this title back to February 28, 2017. Fans have been very anxious ever since Horizon Zero Dawn was announced, but the fans seem resolute, some stating they must have day one copies. Developers say this new date will afford them the time to ensure the quality of games that they are known for.

PlayStation states they realize this decision will not please everyone, however they hope fans will be thankful in the end. During this time developers will be able to work on everything from visual graphics to ironing out the bugs. The developers want to be absolutely sure their ambitious vision of Horizon Zero Dawn is near perfect. PlayStation plans on releasing more screenshots and videos as development continues.

The overall feedback is, a slightly let down, positive. Many fans have said they can’t wait for their day one copies. Some even speculate that the delay is due to the rumor of an upgraded PS4.5. PlayStation plans to announce the new console officially before releasing PlayStation VR which is due in October 2016.
