The latest expansion to The Sims 4 just got a new, shiny trailer. The new expansion will be set in a metropolis, along with its cultural diversity, flashing lights and karaoke nights. The expansion will be released November 1st, and it is simply called City Living.
City Living introduces players to the thriving city San Myshuno, along with the new possible career choices and mechanics. The new possible career choices include politics and being a critic or a social media expert. The new mechanics include different events a sim can take part in and, of course, penthouses.
The sim can start his new city life by living in a rodent-infested flat, but after some time they might move up in the world and buy a penthouse. Flats and penthouses come with their pros and cons. The apartments are not as customizable as ordinary houses, since landlords rarely dig if their walls are demolished. The space is more limited, but according to EA there will still be enough room for enjoyable gameplay.
After a long day, your sims might want to descend from their domestic palace and hit the streets of San Myshuno. The expansion introduces different events and activities, like the aforementioned karaoke. The sims can stop by a Curry Challenge, play music on a street corner for money, or play street basketball. You can read more about the activities and mechanics on the official webpage.
