Nintendo announced earlier today through their website that a new Nintendo Direct would be scheduled, detailing the upcoming releases of Nintendo 3DS and Wii U titles between now and this summer. It was noted on Nintendo’s website that Direct would not cover any information regarding the mobile platform or the yet-unveiled NX.
Coming fresh off of a 20th Anniversary Pokémon Direct, topics of interest could be related to the previously released Fire Emblem Fates, to upcoming titles such as Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games 2016 and Star Fox Zero. Kirby: Planet Robobot will launch on June 10
A new Kirby-themed series of amiibo will launch later this year. They grant a new copy ability for Kirby, as well as a unique costume.
Using particular amiibo will give Kirby particular copy abilities.
It’s accessible both solo, and via download play
A co-op minigame gives each player a different class, tasking them with completing quests and levelling up their Kirby.
A new Kirby game will make its debut on the 3DS. It’s a traditional 2D platformer, with the copy ability back in full strength. New mechanical armor strengths Kirby, allowing new options for combat and exploration.
Rhythm Heaven Megamix is a compilation of previous title’s minigames. It launches later this year

Federation Force will launch in late Spring
Fairly straightforward Metroid-esque first-person action. The story seems light, but it does make use of the Metroid universe. A good bit of co-op fun at the very least.

Metroid Prime Federation Force is up next, with Kensuke Tanabe
New Fire Emblem DLC will make its debut in Monster Hunter Generations. A Marth armor set will be craftable.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate save data will be transferrable to Generations.
Seems to be a compilation of the multiple Monster Hunter Cross trailers. It’s bound for release in Summer this year.

It’s set to launch at an unspecified point later this year.
Dragon Quest 7 has been completely remade for the 3DS, with new character models and a retranslated story.
Bravely Second launches on April 15
The upcoming demo contains an exclusive side-story that won’t be in the full game. It will be available on March 10th, and will allow the transfer of additional bonuses to the full game.
Bravely Second is up next. Some of the new jobs are being highlighted, particularly the Wizard and Catmancer.
We’ve got a new artist tool inbound for the 3DS, with Disney Art Academy launching on May 13.
Medley will be a new playable character, as a DLC character alongside the first DLC pack.
If you own both the 3DS and Wii U titles, you can transfer the 3DS-exclusive characters to the Wii U version.
A Season pass is available, including an exclusive DLC costume for Ganondorf. 4 DLC packs will release throughout the year.
Hyrule Warriors Legends is just around the corner. New DLC will be available later this year.
New DLC maps will be available shortly, at $2.49 each. if you’ve already purchased the first map pack, these new maps will be free.
Fire Emblem Fates: Revelations will launch on March 10. The price is set at $20.
Azure Striker Gunvolt sequel unveiled. The original title will be discounted for a limited period. Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 launches in Summer
Game Freak’s solitaire/horse racing crossover game is coming to the West. Breed and train new ponies, then race and level them up. It launches in May
New Virtual Console software for the New 3DS XL. SNES compatibility for the first time, including Pilitowings, Super Mario World and F-Zero, launching tomorrow. More titles will release in the coming months.
Mini Mario and Friends: Amiibo Challenge is a new puzzle game that uses amiibo figures to unlock playable characters. It will be available on April 28
The My Nintendo loyalty program is up next. Playing apps and purchasing games will grant coins to spend on rewards.
Twilight Princess HD will be launching tomorrow. A retrospective video is available on the Nintendo YouTube channel
An exclusive Shadow Mewtwo amiibo card will be available in first run copies. Pokken Tournament launches on March 18
Next up is Pokken Tournament. The player is challenging the Ferron league, with a number of overcome along the way. New customization options for the player character will unlock as you progress.
Paper Mario is off on a new adventure, this time with a touch of Splatoon. Paper Mario Color Splash tasks Paper Mario with bringing color back to Prism Island, and will launch sometime this year.
Lost Reavers, or Project Treasure as it was originally called, is an online multiplayer dungeon crawler. A team of 4 carves through enemies to gather treasure. The beta begins in April this year
And we keep moving forward, with the Fire Emblem/Shin Megami Tensei crossover up next. Japanese Audio with English subtitles will be the only option at launch. It releases on June 24
The new Super Challenge mode tasks you with completing a series of difficult levels on limited lives to receive a new Amiibo costume. The Update will be available on March 9
Keys, key doors and spike pillars are the new course elements.
New update coming for Super Mario Maker.
Mario and Sonic launches on March 18
Rugby Sevens will be making its appearance for the first time, and several locations will be modeled after real-world locations
Flashy new trailer with pretty much all you’d expect from a Mario and Sonic Olympics game. A range of sports to choose from, with plenty of characters to choose from.

A new update is inbound for Splatoon. It includes balances and adjustments to abilities and matchmaking
Star Fox Zero will be available on April 22nd, packaged with Star Fox Guard.
It comes complete with a level editor and sharing functionality, for multiplayer
Project Guard, which made an appearance at E3 back at the Wii U’s debut, is set to reappear in a new title: Star Fox Guard
The end goal is Venom, but with the branching pathways, how you get there is up to you.
Star Wolf will make several appearances throughout the story, serving as a rival of sorts.
Like Star Fox 64, secret paths will open up branching paths in the story progression.
Star Fox Zero is ready for launch.
