Seriously, I have to ask, what year is it? A Clinton is running for president, everyone is playing Pokémon, there’s a new Tarzan movie (apparently?), and retro gaming is making its way back. Today, Nintendo Australia announced a new mini Nintendo Entertainment System coming out this November, which will contain thirty classic titles that include hits such as Super Mario Bros. 3. The new console has been dubbed as Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System.

The games featured on the console will be:

· Balloon Fight
· BUBBLE BOBBLE
· Castlevania™
· Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest™
· Donkey Kong
· Donkey Kong Jr.
· DOUBLE DRAGON II: THE REVENGE
· Dr. Mario
· Excitebike
· FINAL FANTASY®
· Galaga™
· GHOSTS‘N GOBLINS™
· GRADIUS™
· Ice Climber
· Kid Icarus
· Kirby’s Adventure
· Mario Bros.
· MEGA MAN™ 2
· Metroid
· NINJA GAIDEN®
· PAC-MAN™
· Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream
· StarTropics
· SUPER C™
· Super Mario Bros.
· Super Mario Bros. 2
· Super Mario Bros. 3
· Tecmo Bowl™
· The Legend of Zelda
· Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

That’s a solid roster. It opens the door for Nintendo to do the same for older consoles like the N64 or the SNES. This mini console can attach a second controller, or use the Wii Classic Controller or the Classic Controller Pro for the Wii U. The console’s controller also works with the Wii/Wii U Virtual Console.

The Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System arrives on November 10, at $99.95 AU, and connects to most high-definition displays with HDMI.
