What a call back to nostalgia, Nintendo! Just the other day, Nintendo of Europe has released a story trailer for the upcoming re-release of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD for the Nintendo Wii U. The trailer features a lot of crisper textures, although some aspects definitely look questionable with regards to facial detail. From a personal perspective, the trailer felt rushed and a bit jarring, with regards to music placement. With news of new content in the form of the Wolf Link amiibo, and the train of thought surrounding Zelda Wii U, Twilight Princess HD is only the beginning of what could be a great year for the Legend of Zelda franchise.
While gamers know Link for his grunts or gasps, there’s a decent rumbling about having Link actually speak. In a recent interview with Eiji Aonuma, this request has not fallen on deaf ears. Aonuma has definitely considered the request, but wants to see where things go because to enable Link with a voice would take away from his independence and individuality; furthermore, it could be good to have Link talk, but don’t hold your breath. This “talking Link” is not really new, either. It’s really just the same conversation, but on a different title.
Take a look at the trailer below.
