An image of a sheet of paper detailing a list of games for the Nintendo Switch, their release dates and associated developers appeared on the twitter feed of IGN France, before quickly being deleted. Even though nearly anyone can print out a list like this, take a picture of it, and post it online, the fact that it was posted by IGN France, and then deleted, does make you wonder.
The list above shows some pretty interesting information. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is listed as having a March 17th release date, which is widely rumored to be the release date of the Nintendo Switch. Also releasing on March 17th are Splatoon Counterattack, Mario Kart 8: Switch It, Super Mario RPG: Rabbid’s Invasion, and Skyrim Special Edition. If we assume the leak is real, this would make the above selection the launch titles of the Nintendo Switch. Another noteworthy title is Assassin’s Creed Egypt. Though probably not the final name of the game, a new Assassin’s Creed game on the Switch would help to bolster the console’s catalogue.
Let us know in the comments whether you think this is a likely line-up from a legitimate leak, or just IGN France trying to mess with our heads.
