According to reports and sources close to Kotaku and TechRadar, the exploration-based title No Man’s Sky will be missing its target release date of June 21 and will instead settle for an unannounced date in July or August. Hello Games and Sony have yet to issue a formal statement, though this delay has been sent to some retailers.
The delay itself isn’t a significant one, but it’s a step that’s slowly losing the engagement of its fan base. Fans have since lamented that the game has set too high of an expectation and that such expectations would never satisfy the players. Here’s to hoping that the title is able to make it happen.
