One Punch Man season 2 is one of the most anticipated anime shows of the year. Fans have waited more than 3 years, but season 2 will stream exclusively on Hulu in the US.

On Viz Media’s blog, it was finally announced that One Punch Man season 2 will stream starting April 9. Prior to season 2’s launch, Viz Media is letting fans watch the first season for free on their website. Season 1 of the show is currently available on Netflix, but season 2 will only be available on Netflix within Japan.

One Punch Man‘s official page includes a list for international streaming services which will broadcast the new season:

  • USA: Hulu
  • France: Anime Digital Network
  • Mainland China: Youku
  • Australia and New Zealand: AnimeLab
  • Germany and Austria: Anime on Demand

Additionally, Anime News Network translated details from One Punch Man‘s blog which mentions that there will be a television special airing on April 2 on TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, and TV Aichi.

Fan favorites from season 1 such as Saitama, Genos, Speed O Sonic, Terrible Tornado, even Mumen Rider, and more are returning this season. Garou, who was first introduced in season 1 episode 10 by Silver Fang, will be a major antagonist this season. He was once the top disciple of Silver Fang, but he was expelled because of his villainous nature. In December 2018, the announcement trailer gave a short introduction for One Punch Man season 2 and showed Garou with his evil intentions.
