UPDATE: Remastered Dead Rising Releases on Console and PC September 13


Photojournalist Frank West makes his triumphant return as the original Dead Rising hits the Steam platform. The game, popular for its dynamic environments and day-night system, brings zombie wave after wave at the Willamette Mall. The title releases to Steam on September 13; players can pre-order it on the Steam page, here.

On a side note, the game will be coming out with its triple pack on the PlayStation 4, same launch date. At $20 for PC, this is the kind of rig you’ll want to have:

UPDATE: Upon further investigation, Dead Rising appears to have gotten a remastered treatment that will be out on all modern platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The release remains September 13 for all platforms, and will set players back $20.
