Potential Western PS Vita Release for Adventures of Mana

Adventures of Mana has just released on iOS and Android devices, but as it turns out, only Japan is getting the PlayStation Vita version—at least, for now. A Western release of this version is basically up in the air as Square Enix looks into it, and they want you to let them know on their blog if you’re interested.

“Adventures of Mana is a remake of the first game in the Mana series which was originally released back in 1991 for the Game Boy as Final Fantasy Adventure in North America and Mystic Quest in Europe (not to be confused with Final Fantasy Mystic Quest) and was later remade for the Game Boy Advance as Sword of Mana. Now, as Adventures of Mana, the origin of the Mana series comes to mobile for the very first time!”

The game’s certainly got a bit of a history and given that the PS Vita already has a fair amount of RPGs, I’m guessing this kind of game would be right down existing Vita owner’s alley—perhaps mine too, actually. If you’re interested yourself, check out the following trailer. The music alone has me wanting that Vita port!
