The channel has to amassed 10 million subscribers and channel creator, Matthew Patrick has become one of the most outspoken personalities for YouTube. With all the success of the YouTube Channel, it is sad to hear of the passing of Ronnie Edwards who was one of the original editors of the channel.

In a recently released video, Matthew Patrick announced that Ronnie Edwards passed away July 4th at the age of 25. According to MatPat, it is being ruled that Ronnie’s death was a suicide. In a quote from a video, Matthew Patrick says, “Ronnie told me once in the early days of the channel’s history that it was his goal for his animations to be recognized and for him to be influential as an artist.” He would go on to say, ” And if I were to tell him something right now I would say, ‘You did it.’  That he achieved that goal. That the Game Theory style and anyone who has ever mimicked the Game Theory style or anyone who has ever had a show on these channels, that was Ronnie’s style.”
