Sega have announced they will be updating the Sega Mega Drive Classics library on Steam, with the addition of the Hub. It will available in a free update anyone with a classic Sega game in their account, and will be released April 28th. The Hub will be an interactive bedroom reminiscent of an early 90s Sega fan. The room will feature retro Sega paraphernalia, a CRT TV, and dynamic time conditions. There will also be a shelf full of Mega Drive games, including ones you own, serving as a visual depiction of your games library.

Every Mega Drive game will now support the Steam Workshop, allowing anyone to share modified versions of retro SEGA titles. Some under-the-hood features for the Hub include: support local co-op for compatible games, the ability to save at any point in gameplay and full controller and keyboard support.
