Elder Scroll V: Skyrim Remaster Confirmed with Mods

It’s been confirmed by Bethesda that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be remastered for current generation consoles. The trailer highlights improved snow, water, and lighting effects. Presumably, we’ll see better draw distances, textures, and character models, which are all rather standard in remastered games.

In Skyrim, you play as the Dragonborn, a living legend who has the blood of dragons coursing through their veins. This gives you the ability to gain abilities from dragons, as well as speak to them. The Dragonborn is tasked to defeat Alduin, one of the most powerful dragon who is trying to bring the world back to a time where dragons ruled over all of the races in Tameriel.

Another big announcement for the Skyrim Remaster was the inclusion of mods. They were shown to be set up similar to how Fallout 4 mods are formatted, and the ability to create mods on PC that are released on Bethesda.net will likely be the same.
