Nintendo to Reportedly Launch SNES Mini in Late 2017

Brace yourselves: more eBay console scalping is coming…

The week following the cancellation of the NES Mini, inside sources have reportedly told EuroGamer that an SNES version of the highly-desired Nintendo Classic series is on the way. “The SNES mini (or, to continue Nintendo’s official branding, likely the Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Entertainment System) is currently scheduled to launch in time for Christmas this year,” the report states. “Nintendo’s plans for SNES mini are also a major reason why last year’s NES mini did not see a reprieve from discontinuation…despite the latter’s continued popularity and sell-out status.”

Will you be selling off any unnecessary internal organs to afford a scalped mini SNES? Will Nintendo finally realize that they like money and provide enough units for everybody? Which games would you like to see included with the system (Donkey Kong Country and A Link to the Past or so help me God…)? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
