The highly anticipated Star Wars Battlefront comes out on November 17, but before then, EA will be launching a beta for the game in October. The beta will include three modes and will test the technical aspects of the game before its release in November.
The beta will stress the server in order to see how it performs during the Walker Assault, which is a battle between the Rebels and the Empire which encompasses 40 players. This will unlock both a Survival mission, where you and a friend must stave off waves of Imperial forces, and a brand new mode called Drop Zone. EA has also revealed a Companion Experience, which will allow you to use the internet, mobile phones, and tablets when the game releases in November. Doing so lets you to play a card game that will allow you to unlock in-game content which will be available when the game releases. The beta will be coming to Playstation 4, XBOX One, and PC (Origin only).
